Voice for Tanzania's Children: Advocating for a Brighter Future

Through this initiative, the Sauti ya Mtoto Foundation provides children with the opportunity to express the real challenges they face in their lives.

We capture and broadcast these stories on Star TV. Beyond just hearing from children, we\'ve extended our interviews to include interviews with Bajaj, motorcycle, and inter-district bus drivers, who are often responsible for transporting these children, leading them to end up on the streets in risky environments.

Additionally, we\'ve engaged with religious leaders, local government officials, lawyers versed in various child-related laws, commissioners from the Ministry of Health, and medical professionals. The medical professionals contribute valuable insights into diseases that are likely to affect street children, ways to overcome these health challenges, and the prevalence of street children seeking medical treatment, considering the financial constraints associated with acquiring medication in Tanzania. This comprehensive program aims to shed light on the multifaceted issues affecting Tanzanian children, advocating for positive change and involving various stakeholders in the conversation.
