Sauti ya Mtoto Foundation (SMF) is a civil society organization established in 2017, with "Sauti ya Mtoto" translating to "Child's Voice" in Swahili. Officially registered under the Non-Governmental Organization Act, 2002 of the Law of Tanzania in 2018 (Registration No. 0009450), SMF operates on both grassroots and national levels across the Tanzanian mainland, with its headquarters located in Mwananyamala, Kinondoni district, Dar es Salaam., SMF is dedicated to advocating for and assisting children and women to achieve better well-being and eradicate Gender-Based Violence.
Focused on ensuring the well-being of children and women in Tanzania, SMF is engaged in seven main areas, namely Advocacy, Education, Health, Economic Empowerment, Environment, Norms and Values, and also Science and Technology. The objective is to build a community where children and women are prioritized in the development endeavors.
