Commemoration of Africa Human Rights Day by Tanzania Coalition Against Child Labor

On October 20, 2023, the Tanzania Coalition Against Child Labor, of which SMF is a member and host, successfully collaborated with students from Kambangwa Secondary School in the Kinondoni district to observe the significant event of Africa Human Rights Day.

"It is a day of great importance as we come together to promote awareness and education about the right to education for all, discussing the achievements and fundamental steps taken by the Sauti ya Mtoto Foundation in upholding human rights, especially the right to education. These rights form essential pillars shaping our society and paving the way towards a brighter future.

Today, we stand united in our commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, receives quality education. Education is not only a fundamental human right but also a key that unlocks a world of opportunities, enabling people to reach their full potential. We highlight the significance of education as a catalyst for change and development. We recognize that investing in education means investing in the future of our communities, nation, and continent as a whole. Within its overarching mission, SMF has been at the forefront of advocating for children\'s rights and promoting access to education. Our foundation believes that every child has a voice worth hearing, and through education, we empower them to fulfill their dreams and make meaningful contributions to society. Today, we gather not only to celebrate the achievements and progress we have made but also to renew our commitment to our work. Let us wholeheartedly strive to eliminate barriers to education, promote equal educational opportunities, and create an environment where every child can succeed. I invite each of us today to understand the importance of the right to education and its impact on the lives of African children, especially in Tanzania.
